Personal information contact

For any question about your personal information, write to privacy@meishime.com. The person responsible for the protection of personal information can be reached at that address.

What we collect

• Account: email, password (hashed), language.
• Cards: the information you choose to add, with a visibility level per field.
• Network: details that other people voluntarily share with you during an exchange, with their explicit consent, and contacts you add.
• Analytics: card views, clicks and exchanges — no ad profiling and no third-party cookies.
• Meishi AI: your questions and the answers, to keep your conversation history.

Why

Only to run the service: show your cards, record exchanges, produce your insights and answer your Meishi AI requests. We do not sell your information and show no ads.

Minimization and visibility

Every card field has a level: Public, Contacts, After exchange or Private. Private fields are never shown publicly nor included in a contact file. Only a first name and one way to reach someone are required for an exchange.

Meishi AI

Meishi AI answers from your own Meishi Me data. Generated text is labeled as such and never published without your action. Processing runs on Cloudflare Workers AI; your data is not used to train models.

Where data is stored

Your information is hosted by Cloudflare: the database is located in North America and the service runs on Cloudflare's global network, so it may be stored or processed outside Québec. Technical logs (request path, error codes, without the content of your cards) are kept briefly for security and operations.

Hosting and processors

• Cloudflare (hosting, database, storage, AI).
• Resend (transactional email), when configured.
• Integrations (HubSpot, webhooks) receive data only if you connect them.

Retention

Analytics events are kept 13 months. Your cards, contacts and conversations are kept until you delete them or your account.

Your rights

• Access and portability: Settings → Download my data (JSON file).
• Correction: edit your cards and contacts at any time.
• Deletion: Settings → Delete my account (permanent and immediate), or contact by contact.
• Someone who shared their details with you can ask for their deletion; we relay such requests.
• Search-engine indexing of your card is off by default; you can turn it on or off in your settings.

Incidents

If a confidentiality incident presents a risk of serious injury, we will notify affected people and the competent authorities as required by applicable law.
